BRITAIN’S Got Talent has returned to telly with a crop of spectacular acts ready to wow the judges and viewers at home.
In the mix were a comedian and a TikTok star, and even an opera tenor.

Yet every year there are some fans who are not surprised by the new line-up of talent.
And this year after a bit of digging, shrewd viewers found FIVE already had a brush with fame after they recognised a number of the acts.
BGT does allow anyone to take part in the competition, regardless of experience and their previous shots at stardom.
A TV insider has told The Sun: “It has always been the case that BGT is open to all regardless of their previous experience.”
Innocent Masuku

The hit show has fallen into a new fix row after West End singer Innocent Masuka auditioned over the weekend.
The opera sensation closed the second round of auditions and walked away with four yeses after he sang Caruso by Lucio Dalla.
Judges Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden were in awe and Dixon said his performance was “overwhelming” while Holden branded him better than Paul Potts and Susan Boyle.
But for some watching at home it wasn’t a surprise, and they recognised the performer who is currently starring in Rossini’s The Barber of Seville on the London Coliseum stage.
“It’s a fix. He’s already an accomplished tenor. Google Innocent Makusu,” one viewer moaned.
Another tweeted: “What a fix, Innocent Makusu is already an accomplished tenor and he’s in The Barber Of Seville!”
Other fans praised him for his talent and said he was robbed for not securing the golden buzzer.
Taking to social media to hit out, one person wrote: “Masuku was robbed of a golden buzzer tbh.”
A second said: “Innocent took my breath away. Absolutely divine in every sense of the word; already watched him twice. Just wow #BGT Thought there’d be a golden buzzer though!”
A source told The Sun acts with past performing experience are not getting an “unfair advantage” on the show.
They added that it “all boils down to the public vote”.
Bobby Goldfinn

Bobby Goldfinn routine relied on the fact that goldfish have a three second memory, so he continually ‘forgot’ what he was doing and kept starting over.
The episode also showed him wombling back on stage for a second and third attempt.
He is in fact Bobby Finn, an amateur comedian from Massachusetts.
He has 335,000 followers on Instagram and 650,000 on TikTok, where his jokes mainly cover US sport and some have reached half a million people.
Viewers loved his performance, as one said: “Bobby Goldfin…just genius.”
Another begged the show for him to return and said: “Bobby Goldfin should make an appearance every week.”
Sydnie Christmas

Sydnie Christmas had the judges raving over her incredible performance of Tomorrow from Annie and got a golden buzzer.
But the singer was criticised after it was revealed she is a stage performer.
Sydnie has starred in Starlight Express in Bochum, Germany, and Lazarus at London’s King’s Cross Theatre.
She shared snaps of her performing a track from Lazarus on the BBC in 2016 while appearing on The Andrew Marr Show.
It comes after Sydnie hit back at “fame claims” on ITV’s Lorraine on Monday morning.
Lorraine asked her: “You have been grafting away, you have done the cruise ships, you’ve never been on the West End though?”
“No!” Christmas said.
“You’ve never done any of that,” Kelly added. “You’ve always wanted to. This is your dream isn’t it?”
Sydnie explained: “I just aspire to, I want to be a leading lady. That’s the dream! That’s the aim.”
The singer shared why she wanted to give BGT a go and said: “Just to open a door. To try. Let’s have it. Let’s give it a go.”
But some fans have moaned at how polished Sydnie was, and one viewer tweeted: “No way.
“She’s either got an album out already or has been signed somewhere. Sydnie is pro already I reckon.”
Another posted: “Why did Sydnie get a Golden Buzzer. She’s a professional for goodness sake.”
Others felt she was worthy of the golden buzzer.
One emotional fan said: “I cried through her amazing performance. Wow…and she even converted Simon! She’s got the charm to go with that spectacular voice. Good for her. Sydnie Christmas is a star.”
Geneviève Côté

Geneviève Côté, 60, has developed an incredible knack of creating nature sounds and noises, and stands in front of the BGT judges.
“Is she doing the noise?” a stunned Amanda Holden is seen asking as she performs as waves, birds, monkeys, and peaceful background music to wild animals in the habitats, just like in a nature documentary. “I wasn’t expecting that!”
Those familiar with the franchise may recognise her from TWO previous international iterations from the series.
Back in March 2023, Geneviève appeared on Canada’s Got Talent, and left the judges so awestruck that Howie Mandel gave her his golden buzzer.
She made it to the finals, before being beaten by dance group Conversion.
However, her performance clearly left an impression on Mandel, who brought her back for America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League to be part of his team this January.
And in between those two appearances, Geneviève also auditioned for France’s version of the show, ‘La France a un incroyable talent’.
In that case, judge Karine Le Marchland gave her the golden buzzer, sending her through to the semi-finals, where she was then eliminated.
Ravi’s Dream Team

Ravi’s Dream Team, fronted by Ravi, landed the coveted golden buzzer – and have been put straight through to the live show after Alesha hit the button.
Ravi and the choir performed A Million Dreams from movie musical The Greatest Showman which left everyone incredibly emotional.
The group have already enjoyed some success after releasing a charity single featuring an amazing array of internationally acclaimed musicians including Bastille, Damon Albarn, Paloma Faith, The Big Moon, and Metronomy.
Taking to the stage, Ravi introduced his sister, mother and father to the judges and explained his reasoning for being on the show as he stood alongside the group, ranging from age five to 78.
“I’ve watched BGT all my life and always wanted to audition for it,” he said.
“Two years ago I was diagnosed with a brain tumour and I’m here to show no matter what life throws you can still achieve your dreams.”
The public decide
Sources told The Sun despite the acts taking multiple leaps at stardom, there is “no unfair advantage”.
The source continued: “The winner is crowned by the public vote.
“It’s fair game, as all acts are voted for by the public.
“The show has never hidden the fact that auditions are open to everybody, irrespective of previous experience, and everybody is given the same opportunity on the show”.
“Regardless of experience, these contestants are not household names, and are unknown to most of the public.
“The show offers contestants an opportunity to perform on a Global scale and pursue their dreams”.
