Celebrity Big Brother SLAMMED with hundreds of Ofcom complaints over ‘CRUEL’ moment
Celebrity Big Brother viewers were quick to make Ofcom complaints about a ‘cruel’ moment involving Bradley Riches’ eviction.
A few days before the final, the stars were treated to reunions with their loved ones. While everyone else got to have their special moment with their friends and family, Bradley was greeted by host AJ Odudu who told him he was being secretly evicted from the house by the backdoor.
The Heartstopper star waited in the communal garden in hopes of reuniting with his loved ones but was instead kicked out of the house. Viewers thought the moment was harsh as he looked upset over the twist and spent many weeks away from his friends and family.
Ofcom racked up a total of 210 complaints from Celebrity Big Brother viewers about the episode that aired on March 21. It was Ofcom’s only complained-about show between March 19 and March 25. Fans were heartbroken over the moment and rushed to social media when the scenes unfolded.

One user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter : “I can’t cope with AJ meeting Bradley at the rendezvous and him not returning to the house omfg,” while another added: “AJ ODUDU, HOW COULD YOU!!! POOR BRADLEY!!!” One user posted: “Hellooooo Ofcom! AJ Odudu x Bradley.”
During the episode, Bradley was greeted by host AJ Odudu in the rendezvous clearing to which she asked: “Surprised to see me?” Explaining the reason for her sudden appearance, the host added: “As you can see, neither a friend or family member is here for you. That is because the public have been voting. I can now reveal that the 7th housemate to be evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house is you.”

Reacting to the shocking news, Bradley said: “I’ve had so much fun, I feel fine, I didn’t think I was gonna make it this so far, and I love everyone in there and I’m so proud of everyone, and I’m very thankful, very grateful and very happy.”
AJ then confirmed: “Bradley, your stay in the Celebrity Big Brother house is over, you must return to the house, say your goodbyes and leave immediately. Good luck!” to which Bradley then said goodbye to his fellow housemates, exclaiming: “I love you all so much, I’ve had the best time!” as he exited via the Diary Room.
Appearing on the spin-off show, Late and Live, Bradley opened up about the brutal exit and said: “When AJ walked in, I was just, I knew what came, the red lights happened, I was like ‘yeah’. This is happening and I just felt so grateful, so happy, I had the best time and I just thought I can’t be upset, I can’t get upset, I’m just grateful for that experience with all those amazing people and I just had the best time.”
