Donald Trump Jr. has described Diddy and the late Kim Porter‘s relationship as “weird” in a new interview with DJ Akademiks. You read that right.
On Wednesday (April 17), the talking head sat down with Trump to discuss a few hot topics, naturally leading the conversation to Diddy. Donald Trump Jr recalled his ex-wife, Vanessa Kay, being friends with Porter during her modeling days.
Trump detailed how he received a call from Kay after Porter died in 2018, with her describing the relationship as “weird.” Trump also claimed that his wife was extremely “afraid” of Diddy based on alleged stories she would hear from Kim.
“My ex-wife was a model in NY, and she was really good friends with Kim Porter, who was Diddy’s wife, the one who died at 47 from ‘pneumonia,’” he told Ak. “When [Kim died], she called me…like, ‘Something is up with that.’ I said, ‘What do you mean?’ She said, ‘Kim used
to tell me it was a bad—there was a lot of bad sh*t.’ I didn’t even know but [Kim and Vanessa] would do photoshoots together, they were friendly. We would hang out when we see them downtown. Not so much with Diddy [but] she was really afraid of him, this goes back years, and [Kim] was having these conversations with my ex.”
Trump Jr. then explained that his wife claimed Kim Porter “always lived in fear of something happening” being with Diddy. He repeatedly insinuated that something was “off” about Porter’s death, insisting that not a lot of 47-year-olds “die from pneumonia.”
Kim Porter died in her sleep in November 2018 from a lung infection, NBC News reported. Weeks before her death, the former model complained about having a sore throat. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner expressed that the sickness then developed into a fever of 102 degrees.
Porter’s temperature then dropped to 96, and the woman seemed to be returning to normal. She was later found in bed, unresponsive the next day. “It was later determined Porter died from lobar pneumonia,” the coroner articulated at the time. “The manner of death was certified as natural.“
Kim Porter, Christian Casey Combs, Quincy Brown, Sean “Diddy” Combs, D’Lila Star Combs and Jessie James Combs attend “The Holiday Calendar” Special Screening Los Angeles at NETFLIX Icon Building on October 30, 2018 in Los Angeles, California.
