CHLOE Brockett has revealed the truth behind her feud with ex pal Yazmin Oukhellou after their tearful reunion on Ex on the Beach.

Back in 2020, Chloe, 23, and James Lock, 37, had a fling, leaving his ex-girlfriend Yazmin, 31, furious.

Yaz was left devastated by the betrayal after Chloe started seeing James following the couple’s painful break-up.

Towie favourite Chloe has now revealed that reuniting with Yaz on the Paramount Plus series went better than expected – but things quickly turned “awkward”, which resulted in her leaving the process.

Chloe exclusively told The Sun: “I wasn’t in the villa the same time as Lockie [James Lock], I left before he came in.

“I noticed there was a little bit of tension between me and Yazmin but we actually got along the whole time.

“We had an amazing time but I think she was a little bit nervous Lockie was coming in and rightly so, they had a really long relationship.

“So, I just left before he came in so they could have the time they needed together, so I wasn’t good for it.”

Chloe explained that there is no bad blood with her and Yaz now – but said she wouldn’t go as far to call her a “friend”.

She told us: “When I came in, me and Yaz spent a lot of time together and then the closer it got to Lockie coming in, the more awkward it was a little bit.

“I imagine it would be really hard for her, I was an ex-friend of her and that was her ex-boyfriend.

“Things got a little bit awkward between us but there really isn’t any bad blood.

“I think her feelings are valid, she was with him for a long time and that’s that.”

When asked if they’re friends now, Chloe said: “I wouldn’t say we’re friends, but we can be in the same room and get along”

While Chloe admitted her exit on the show allowed Yaz and Lockie to determine whether they had unfinished business.

She added: “I don’t know if there is unfinished business, as I wasn’t in the villa the same time they were. I’ve seen them together at filming and they had a nice relationship, so maybe there is.”

Yaz confessed she was terrified the shock arrival would spark a row, but Chloe accepted full responsibility for their fallout.

In the latest episode of Celeb Ex On The Beach, Yaz admitted she’d waited for an apology for four years.

They headed to a cabana and Yaz told her: “I was so worried about you coming in here.

Yaz then choked back tears, adding: “I was thinking you were going to come on here and start on me.”

Chloe responded: “What I done with James it weren’t nice it wasn’t.

“In my defence I honestly thought you had a new boyfriend and we weren’t going to be friends again. That’s all it was.

“I would never come in and want a problem with you.”

Yaz began to cry as she went on to say: “It didn’t feel then that you were remorseful or even care.”

In a moment of blunt honesty, Chloe admitted: “Yeah I wasn’t, and that is the truth.

“That’s why I wanted to come on here.

“That’s why I’ve come on here and been like, yeah I did it, because I’m not going to hide away.”

Chloe was also filled with emotion, telling Yaz: “I need to grow from that and realise you can’t do that to people.”

James and Yaz split after returning to the UK from Dubai where they had relocated during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Yaz then stayed in the UAE while James flew home to film Towie.

She moved on with Lauren Goodger’s ex-boyfriend Jake McLean, and suffered a devastating ordeal when their car crashed in Turkey, taking Jake’s life.

Chloe previously dated Love Island’s Jack Fincham, 34, and former co-star Harry Lee, 30.

Yaz and Chloe joined Celeb Ex On The Beach with Love Island’s Joe Garrat, 27, Ibiza Weekender’s Callum Izzard, and Love Islanders Paige Turley and Finn Tapp.
