JAY Blades’ sister-in-law has shared a cryptic message about “secrets” and “codes”.

The Repair Shop star’s wife Lisa Zbozen, 44, confirmed last night the couple’s marriage was over.

Lisa’s sister Teresa Zbozen has posted a cryptic message on Instagram
Lisa has poured her heart out over their split – saying she felt she “couldn’t be enough” for the BBC star.

Her sister Teresa Zbozen has since made reference to “using code words on messages and calls to be sure it’s safe to ring”.

She also wrote about “keeping the secret”, adding: “Right now I am nothing but grateful, relieved and hopeful for my sister’s future outside of her marriage.”

Lisa wept as she gave fans emotional updates after she dramatically revealed their marriage break-down yesterday.

Fitness guru Lisa – who wed Blades, 54, in Barbados in November, 2022 – broke down in tears as she addressed her 152,000 online followers.

She said: “I just want to say thank you so much to everyone who has sent a message and been so nice.

“I still don’t actually believe that this is real.

“Because if you knew how much I loved my husband and how much I’ve tried to make this work.

Jay got down on one knee with a ring he designed and was made by his co-star Richard Talman who works as a goldsmith on the show in 2021.

They tied the knot in a sunny Caribbean ceremony on November 2022 with just 15 guests attending.

Speaking to Hello! magazine about their special day, Jay, 52, said: “One word sums up the day: perfect.

“We had our closest family there, the weather held out and everything worked out so well.”

Lisa added: “Once you get to a certain age, you realise what’s actually important on the day – and that is having the people around you that love you for who you are.

“So we made the day our day.”

Jay was overcome with emotion during the ceremony.

The television presenter confessed: “I think the thing that was most emotional for me was actually saying the vows.

“It was almost like I had tunnel vision and I could only see Lisa there.

“And honestly, that’s when it really hit me. I was like, ‘We’re really getting married now!’. That’s the only time I really got emotional.”

Jay was previously married to his ex-wife Jade.

The pair, who split up in 2015, share daughter Zola, 15.

“I just wanted it so much and I couldn’t be enough – I couldn’t get it right, ever.

“So here I am.

“I know there’s a lot of you out there that resonate with what I’m going through right now.

“I wonder when you get to the point when you don’t feel so bad about yourself.

“Where you don’t feel like you just don’t understand why you just weren’t enough, why everything you did just didn’t seem to be enough.

“Big breaths. One day at a time right? One day at a time. It’s just really sad. I should be angry but I just – I’m just sad.”

It comes after we told how Lisa had packed bags and left the furniture restoring TV favourite after just 18 months of marriage.

Lisa is staying with her sister Teresa, 41 – who today also blasted Blades on social media.

Teresa said: “Processing and trying to comprehend how or why someone you love could find themselves in this situation has been difficult.

“Right now I am nothing but grateful, relieved and hopeful for my sister’s future outside of her marriage.”

In her original statement – still online – Lisa had said: “I don’t know how to say this because it’s still really raw.

‘I FINALLY LEFT’

“Last weekend I finally left.

“I don’t think I’ve ever cried so much.”

Lisa went on to detail how she was “broken” and added: “I grabbed a bag of a few things and just left.”

Blades, who also fronts Money for Nothing and Jay Blades’ Home Fix, has not commented and told followers he was taking a break from social media on Monday.

The couple tied the knot in front of just 15 guests in the grounds of a beachfront villa in Barbados in November 2022 – and shared their wedding snaps with Hello! Magazine.

Representatives for Blades did not respond to comment requests yesterday.

Lisa did not comment when we approached her.
