TV’s Helen Skelton is facing fresh heartbreak as her ex-husband prepares to become a dad with his girlfriend for the second time.
The presenter’s rugby player ex, Richie Myler, is said to be expecting his second child with Stephanie Thirkill — a year after they had their first daughter.

Stephanie, who has been dating York Knights ace Richie since the breakdown of his marriage to Strictly Come Dancing star Helen two years ago, is believed to be seven months pregnant.
The parents-to-be are said to be happier than ever but a source said: “Helen found the news of Richie and Stephanie’s first child painful so this will be difficult.
“She is moving on as best she can and is focused on being a parent to their children.”
BBC Morning Live presenter Helen, 40, has three children from her decade-long marriage to Richie, 33. She filed for a divorce in 2022 and in December it was finalised.
The pair continue to co-parent their children following their break-up.
Richie and Stephanie, 34, met at his former rugby club Leeds Rhinos.
A pal said: “Richie and Stephanie are over the moon about adding to their family.
“It’s been a wonderful year for them with their daughter Olivia celebrating her first birthday this month. They couldn’t be happier.”
Helen wrote about her split from Richie in her book, In My Stride.
She said she was floored when he walked out just four months after the birth of their youngest daughter.

Helen wrote: “I was in shock. I know that following break-ups, people often say they didn’t see it coming and it sounds like a cliché, but that was me.”
