Amanda, now 53, saw what was going on through the window of her room opposite and called hotel managers.

The romp involved a headline DJ who had  just performed at  Manchester club The Warehouse Project.

He ended up with bar staff in the tub on the balcony of his suite — named after regular customer Simon, now 64 — at The Light Aparthotel.

Club co-founder Sacha Lord said Amanda heard the commotion outside.

He wrote in his new book: “When she looked out of her window she must have been pretty shocked at what she saw, as she reported it to management, and The Warehouse Project was banned from The Light.”

Sacha’s book, Tales From the Dancefloor, charts his incredible success on the Manchester music scene.

He reveals how American rapper Cardi B cancelled a headline slot at Parklife just days before she was due to appear because her boob job hadn’t healed in time leaving him scrambling for a replacement.

And he details when Stone Roses star Ian Brown requested 1,000 people for his guest list it cost the Parklife organisers nearly £49,500 in lost ticket sales.

Sacha’s book gives the lowdown on his 30 years throwing some of the biggest parties the UK has ever seen, while working with iconic acts including The Prodigy, New Order, Snoop Dogg, Fat Boy Slim, Calvin Harris, Grace Jones and Liam Gallagher.

And he reveals some of the scarier aspects of the Manchester club scene.

America’s Got Talent adds major twist ahead of show’s return with new season – and Simon Cowell says it’s a ‘good sign’
Sacha writes: “I’ve been shot at in a drive-by shooting, bundled into a car by gangsters and had death threats, which was not very acid house.

“I’ve been sued and broke, I’ve had to deal with an army of rats who were high on cocaine, had £130,000 stolen from me during an armed robbery, and have been targeted by a Romanian organised crime gang.

“Not Balearic, as we say in Manchester.”
