HOT: The CONFLICT between Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion REACHED ITS PEAK

The conflict between the two rappers peaked over the weekend after Hiss debuted on January 25. Megan Thee Stallion ‘s song touches on various aspects of her tumultuous life as a public figure, including one line in particular that caught Minaj’s attention: “The These ‘hoes’ aren’t mad at Megan, these ‘hoes’ are mad at Megan’s law.” “Hoes” is slang for women that hip-hop artists have slept with or dated.

Megan’s Law is a federal law that requires law enforcement to provide information about sex offenders. The song’s lyrics remind listeners of Megan Thee Stallion’s criticism of Minaj’s husband – Kenneth Petty – a sex offender.

Petty was convicted of rape in April 1995 after assaulting a 16-year-old girl. He spent 4 years in prison for this crime. Petty also served time in prison for first-degree manslaughter for killing a man in 2002.

Nicki Minaj has constantly defended her husband for many years. After MC Wendy Williams mentioned Petty’s crimes on her show in November 2019, Minaj confessed through the song Queen Radio : “I didn’t know that in our society , you’re always haunted by the past. “I didn’t know that life couldn’t turn over to a new page.”

So it’s no surprise that Minaj quickly came to her husband’s defense via Instagram shortly after Hiss became a trending topic on X.

However, the two female artists are not always at odds. The two collaborated on the single Hot Girl Summer in 2019. Fans thought that their relationship gradually deteriorated. When Minaj released her album Pink Friday 2 in December 2023, some speculated that she was sending a vague criticism of Megan through the rap: “Stay with Tory Lanez, bitch, I’m not Iggy.” Minaj was referring to Iggy Azalea, who made headlines when she wrote a letter to the judge in support of Lanez during his trial following the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion. Lanez was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Meanwhile, Megan appeared on The Breakfast Club and revealed that the song Hiss was written for “those bastards… Whoever can feel it, feel it…”.

Minaj’s song, titled Big Foot, was officially released on January 29, but Minaj pre-posted most of the stunning lyrics on Instagram and X over the weekend.

She criticized Megan, despite having won a Grammy, she still needs to “learn how to rap to the beat and feel comfortable in music”. Big Foot ‘s lyrics make innuendos about Megan “lying next to your dead mother” and Lanez’s shooting.

Currently, Megan Thee Stallion has not responded to Big Foot or any of the many posts on social networks or on Minaj’s personal pages. Instead, Megan is busy promoting Hiss – the second single from her third album.
