It came during a chat with Yvette Cooper MP, 55 – the wife of Susanna’s regular Good Morning Britain co-host Ed Balls, 57.
During the episode, Susanna grilled the Shadow Secretary of State for the Home Department on Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s Rwanda plan.
The controversial legislation finally passed through Parliament last night after months of hold-ups and Parliamentary ping-pongs with the House Of Lords.

Yvette confirmed the opposition would scrap the plans if they come to power in the General Election this year.
She branded the policy – dubbed ‘stop the boats’ – a “gimmick” and said: “The Home Secretary himself has described it as bats**t.”
Susanna – who recently celebrated two decades in broadcasting – then interjected: “Sorry, we can’t use that word on television,” before her co-host Richard Madeley let out a laugh.
Yvette was then quick to add: “Sorry, Susanna.”
Policy passed
It came after the proposal to send flights to Rwanda was passed through Parliament last night.
The bill is now on its way to the King for Royal Assent this morning.
Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Sunak told how an airfield and planes were ready to remove illegal immigrants to Rwanda in July.
It came as he confessed the initial deportations would be delayed for “10 to 12 weeks” – putting a stop to the previous spring deadline.
Presenter switch
Meanwhile, former Labour MP Ed Balls missed a face-to-face chat with wife Yvette on Tuesday.
He had been replaced by show anchor Richard in a regular switch-up.
Ed last hosted with Kate Garraway last week.
Meanwhile, Ed and Yvette wed on January 10, 1998, in Eastbourne.
They were the first married couple to serve together in the British cabinet back in January 2008, after Yvette became the Chief Secretary to The Treasury.
