ITV Britain’s Got Talent ‘FIX ROW’ as Golden Buzzer act appeared on ANOTHER TV show

Fuming Britain’s Got Talent fans have branded the show a fix after discovering a Golden Buzzer act has worked with a major pop star.

The talent competition returned on Saturday and saw acts from across the country take to the stage in a bid to land a coveted spot to perform at the Royal Variety Performance as well as win a staggering £250,000 cash prize and it wasn’t long until one performer managed to impress the nation with her vocals – which guaranteed her spot in the live shows.

After singing a cover of (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman by Aretha Franklin, 39-year-old Taryn Charles was moved to tears as she recieved a standing ovation from the judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Bruno Tonioli, and Alesha Dixon who praised her on the performance.

She was then delivered the opportunity of a lifetime after Bruno opted to press his Golden Buzzer – sending her straight to the live semi-finals. Giving a background into her career, Taryn revealed that alongside being a singer she works as a special needs educator and uses music to help rehabilitate children, and during her audition said that she applied to the show to “make people smile.”

The singer has sailed through to live shows

Despite this, Taryn appeared to be a familiar face to some eagle-eyed viewers, who’d spotted her from another ITV singing show. According to some sofa detectives, she already appeared on Starstruck, a show fronted by Olly Murs which sees singers given the chance to transform into their musical idols. The popular series is judged by Sheridan Smith, Adam Lambert, and Beverley Knight.

Unimpressed fans quickly expressed their disappointment, with one person penning: “Taryn Charles is already a professional singer, so you would expect her to have a good voice. Not fair on all the amateurs.” Another person expressed: “I remember Taryn from Starstruck #BGT.” A third person chimed in: “Yet again another professional singer?? Taryn Charles. What has happened to #BGT?”

Meanwhile, the judges and viewers were also blown away by dancers Abigail, seven, and Afronitaaa, 20, performance which they dubbed ‘the best audition yet.’ Amanda Holden said: You are two of the most fantastic dancers we have ever had on Britain’s Got Talent”

However, some people were not pleased they missed out on receiving a Golden Buzzer. Taking to Twitter, now X, one person said: “@antanddec should’ve broken the rules and pushed the golden buzzer a second time for Abigail. THAT is what that buzzer is for! #BGT #BritainsGotTalent”, a different account put: “That last act was amazing .. really deserved a golden buzzer #BGT” while another added: “No golden buzzer? How? #BGT.”
