Emmerdale has hinted at a new feud next week as Rose targets Kim Tate.

Rose made her debut on Thursday night with her true link and secret soon revealed. During the episode, Will Taylor failed to mention her to his wife Kim, sparking suspicion over why he was being so coy. However, the truth was soon revealed to viewers as Will arrived at the hospital asking to see someone, before he found himself lured into a room where newcomer Rose was sat.

Nursing an arm or wrist injury, Rose mocked Will as she made it clear this was the first time they’d seen each other in decades. As they discussed her disappearing act decades earlier, Will revealed Rose was the mother of his daughter Dawn Taylor.

Rose revealed she and Will had been married, with it clear she’d walked out on them when Dawn was a baby, if not a toddler. Will told her they meant nothing to each other and he was keen to never see her again, leaving the room and Rose behind. Spoilers for next week have revealed that Rose is back and she soon targets Kim.

In the upcoming episodes, Dawn is in turmoil having met her mother, Rose, and doesn’t want to discuss it with husband Billy. Meanwhile, in the village, a friendly Rose asks for directions to Home Farm and a shocked Kim is interrupted by Rose who demands she talk to Dawn.

Eventually, Dawn and Rose meet but the latter is left annoyed when Dawn insists Kim sits in on their reunion. Despite Rose attempting to make amends with her estranged daughter, Dawn is firm they will have no relationship. Wanting to protect her family, Kim privately offers Rose two thousand pounds to return to Spain and never return.

Despite raising the offer to three grand, Rose won’t budge until Kim coldly reminds her of other options she could take that would be worse and Rose reluctantly accepts, leaving Home Farm seemingly for good. Prior to her return flight home, Rose heads to the Woolpack, where she gets chatting to Kerry and Gail.

It’s not long until Dawn’s protective husband, Billy, arrives and tells Rose to clear off but with an audience Rose gets revenge as she blurts out Kim paid her off to leave, which leaves Dawn utterly stunned. Later, at Home Farm, Will is frustrated Kim paid off Rose without telling him. Things take another twist when Dawn returns home with her mother in tow, explaining she’s asked Rose to stay with them… how will Kim take the news and will she get her own revenge?
