Irish singers Jedward reunited with Gemma Collins to celebrate nemesis Louis Walsh’s defeat on Celebrity Big Brother.

The 32-year-old twins – whose names are John and Edward Grimes – shot to fame on The X Factor back in 2009 on the sixth season of the show where they met 71-year-old Louis who went on to be their manager. But while the three Irishmen were close professionally, it seems they are bitterly opposed to each other.

The feud between Louis and the twins was uncovered by Louis himself when fellow Celebrity Big Brother contestant Colson Smith, 25, asked him what the twins were like to work with. Louis then denounced them as “vile” before laughing over the fact they made him £5 million while he was their manager.

Jedward were incensed by the comments and went on to make a string of accusations about Louis via social media. They had been at 43-year-old former Towie star Gemma’s house when Louis’ bombshell comments were unleashed – interrupting their late-night roast dinner. The twins were clearly thrilled to see Louis didn’t win the 2024 season of Celebrity Big Brother as he was the fourth-place star.

Taking to X the minute Louis’s fate was announced, the boys mockingly wrote: “F**k Yes Louis is not the winner #CBBUK Mission Complete.” Minutes later, they shared video footage of themselves singing the Sophie Ellis-Bextor song Murder on the Dancefloor along with Gemma as the trio appeared to have reunited to watch the ITV reality show final.

After leaving the Celebrity Big Brother house, Louis sat down with show hosts AJ Odudu, 36, and Will Best, 39, where he gave a surprisingly candid interview. As he talked with the hosts, the music manager revealed he struggled with anxiety and almost quit the show multiple times as a result. He explained: “There were some nights, there were a few nights where I was in a really bad place. Honestly, honestly, honestly. One or two times, I wanted to leave. I wanted to climb over the wall. Luckily I stayed. But there were a few times.”

Explaining further, he continued: “I had anxiety on one or two nights. I was on my own. I was awake. Everyone else was sleeping. There were a few farting. I was on my own.” He went on to say he was glad he did stay – as he learnt so much about himself during his time in the house. He explained that learning to co-live with other stars made him a more tolerant man. Louis said: “It challenged me, it really did. It’s just people are good. Most people are good, once you get to know them. You can’t judge a book by the cover.”

Many reality show fans also took to X to state they felt Louis should have won the show. One fan wrote: “Never thought I’d say it but Louis Walsh was robbed #CBBUK #CelebrityBigBrother.” Another confessed they could cope with David winning, writing: “Louis was most entertaining but second was David im happy with that GG public!” And Another concurred, writing: “I wanted to Louis to win (sorry to anyone that offends) but I’m so pleased it was David that Won he deserves it and it will mean so much more to him #CBBUK.”
