OVE Island star Liberty Poole has addressed rumours of a romance with her All Stars co-star Adam Maxted – saying “never say never”.

Liberty, 24, and wrestler Adam, 32, were seen getting very cosy at event last month before heading home together.

Liberty was spotted heading back to her hotel after spending the night at Adam’s new apartment in Manchester – sending fans into a frenzy that a romance could be on the cards.

But Liberty has now told us that the pair spent the night getting to know each other and bonding over their similarities.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Liberty said: “I know there were pictures of me and Adam, we actually just spoke that night and got to know each other a bit more.

“I did stay over, we were chatting a little bit and I think he is a lovely guy and I’m attracted to him.”

Liberty said she wouldn’t rule out a romance with Adam in the future but said she is currently looking for a man who can invest “time and energy” into her.

The blonde beauty shared: “He’s very focused on his career and wanting to purse wrestling in America.

“And for me, I’m really looking for someone who puts energy and time into me. I’m doing something that I never did on Love Island, you’d all be so proud of me and I’m keeping my options open.

“I’m actually keeping my options open at the moment, but I am open to dating again.”

Liberty said she is loving her single life and is “keeping her options open” as she enjoys the dating scene – and has even had a conversation with Adam about dating other men.

“In the past, I’ve been very career focused and busy working on my own projects,” she continued.

“But never say never with Adam, I’m still single but I just think that I really want someone who really wants to put effort in who really wants to see and date me and stuff.

“Never say never with Adam, I actually said to Adam last night, ‘I know you’re busy and I’m proud of you for smashing your dreams, and I said I’m just letting you know my options are open because I’m single and totally on your end as well…never say never’.

“I do like him, I do think he’s attractive and we do get on very well.

“Maybe if he was in the villa sooner, things could have progressed, but everything happens for a reason, so we’ll just see. But it’s exciting though.”

Liberty said she is currently exploring the dating scene again after being dumped from the villa, alongside Mitch Taylor.

She said: “I’m just enjoying dating, before I did Love Island, Love Island Games, Love Island All Stars and I was super busy and was adamant that I wasn’t dating during those years and I feel like I had no experience and by the time I went on Love Island the third time because I forgot what it was like to date.

“When I came out of Love Island, I thought ‘I’m going to have some fun and start dating again’ and see what I like and keep my options open.

“I’m probably looking for someone that’s driven, they don’t have to be in the public eye.

“I date a lot of guys in the public eye that live low-key lives. I want someone ambitious because I’m very entrepreneurial and I want someone to match that energy.

“I want someone to put effort and plan dates. I’m all about equality, I’m not even asking them to pay for the dates and splitting the bill, I’m a full believer in that.

“I want someone to make an effort and plan dates and take control in the relationship. Someone emotionally mature, because I can be quite initiative.

“People have a misconception about me being naive, I’m not, I’m very switched on and intuitive but I don’t follow my gut instinct quick enough because I like to see the best in people.

“And I want someone I can be goofy around, I went on a date with someone the other day and we went on a wholesome walk and halfway through I just interrupted him and I cut my knee really bad, because I was running that fast and I fell over and he was laughing.

“So someone who accepts all parts of me, when I’m sad, when I’m happy. Just someone really supported and kind-hearted.”

Liberty said she won’t resort to dating apps and prefers to meet guys she knows through mutual friends.

She added: “There’s one guy who has been chasing me for years and I kept pieing him off and I thought maybe now I’ll give it a go.

“The longer you keep them chasing, the more they value you when they get you.

“At the moment, I’m just dating. I’m keeping my options open – it’s probably two or three max, I can’t multitask.”

Adam spills the beans

It comes after Adam lifted the lid on their budding relationship, admitting he would love to date her.

Liberty was dumped from Love Island alongside Mitch Taylor and didn’t get a chance to meet Adam in there – as he entered later as a bombshell.

He told us: “Me and Liberty get on really good. I think she is such a genuine girl, really authentic, wears her heart on herself, if you watch her content, you know she is all about being vulnerable, saying things how they are and those are all really admiral qualities in someone.

“I am obviously really physically attracted to her as well. We haven’t actually planned a date, we have been talking about it, but I am just very busy getting settled in Manchester, working on things and I know she is busy in Birmingham with her own life.

“There is definitely an attraction there but it’s maybe just not the right time to get into something serious.”

Adam added:  “We probably will date if we keep the communication, we’ve been chatting a couple of times a week, but we are both just busy.”

The Irish star is in fact a professional wrestler and recently got a visa from America so will be heading over to the States a lot this year for work – meaning a relationship could be difficult.

Adam made a beeline for Arabella Chi and the pair struck up a connection quickly.

But they struggled to make it work and ended up not managing to meet up outside of the show – before calling it quits.
