Louis Walsh LASHES out at Sir Bob Geldof in EXPLOSIVE ITV Celebrity Big Brother rant

Louis Walsh didn’t hold back when he took aim at another musician in his latest Celebrity Big Brother rant.

The music mogul hasn’t shied away from sharing his true feelings about people during his time in the house, previously hitting out at Ronan Keating, Jedward and his former colleague, Simon Cowell. But it appears nobody is safe from the wrath of Walsh, 71, who found yet another familiar face to take aim at. This time, Sir Bob Geldof became the target of his rants.

His housemates were quizzing Louis over his views on certain songs that had been released over the past few years when Coronation Street actor Colson Smith commented: “Bob Geldof wrote I don’t like Mondays,'” as Louis implied the song was written by Prince. Marisha Wallace responded: “Prince wrote so many songs,” as Louis replied: “Yeah, he did.”

Picking up on the mood, Zeze Millz asked the former X Factor judge: “I take it you’re not a Bob Geldof fan, Louis?” The music manager hit back: “Well, I think he’s full of s**t, he’s from Dublin. I know little bits. The Boomtown Rats were good.” However, when Marisha apologised in cases Sir Bob was watching, Walsh hit back saying: “I don’t give a f**k.”

Viewers at home had mixed responses over Louis’ comment, with one penning on X: “How dare Walsh now slag off Bob Geldof he master of Live Aid Band Aid.” Another posted: “Bob Geldof? I must have missed that #cbbuk.” But one person who agreed with Louis typed: “Louis is right about Bob Geldof to be fair.”

But while Louis’ comments divided people. some fans were not happy that he had landed a place in the grand final on Friday, branding it a “fix”. Fern had been given a task by Big Brother, to place a snake on the pillow of somebody she wanted to evict from the house. Unbeknownst to her, there was a dramatic twist, meaning the housemate she had chosen would be sent straight through to the final.

The former This Morning presenter placed the snake on Louis’ pillow as the housemates raced around to find the unknown intruder in the bedroom. But when it emerged she had chosen Walsh, viewers certainly didn’t hold back and claimed that the show had been “rigged”.

Taking to X, one said: “That was so set up to make sure Louis was in the final.” Another person said: “I’ve never seen a bigger fix than this twist specifically to get Louis Walsh to the final. They knew they’d all pick Louis & knew Louis is too lazy to go to the Diary Room.” A third viewer commented recently: “This was a transparent af stitch-up to get Louis to the final.”
