Louis Walsh REFUSES to APOLOGISE for ITV Celebrity Big Brother comments after backlash

Celebrity Big Brother star Louis Walsh has refused to apologise for a number of comments on the show that sparked backlash.

The X Factor star took aim at his house co-stars as well as celebrities outside of the ITV show across the past three weeks, and he did not hold back. From calling Jedward “vile” to slamming the likes of Ronan Keating and others, he also commented on co-star Fern’s age and appearance regularly while calling her as dull as “wallpaper”.

Jedward had slammed Louis and his remarks in a number of social media posts, with a number of stars backing them. They also admitted they wanted to enter the house to confront their former The X Factor mentor over what he said about them, with him also claiming to have made £5million through them.

On Friday night during the live final, Louis finished in fourth place and left the house. When hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best quizzed him about his time in the house, he confessed he did not realise the jibes he made about people had been aired.

The show played back some of the comments he made about stars and his housemates, while AJ called him “naughty” and pretended to slap his wrist. As she quizzed him about the comments, she asked if he wanted to take a moment to say sorry for any of it, including his comments to Fern.

But Louis refused, shouting out as he claimed he stood by what he said as it was all his opinions. AJ had said after showing him the scenes back: “Is there anyone you’d like to apologise to?”

He shouted back defiantly: “No, absolutely not. That is just my opinion.” AJ didn’t seem happy with his answer clearly believing he should apologies, before pretending to give him a slap on the wrist.

Viewers seemed pretty amused before his refusal to say sorry to anyone, taking to X. One viewer commented: “Louis refusing to apologise hah,” as another said: “HAHAHHAHAH.”

Louis’ co-star David Potts went on to win the series, beating Nikita Kuzmin who came runner-up. David was in shock over his victory, joking it was his famous legs that secured him the vote as he shared his shock over beating the other housemates.
