Announcing the news on Instagram today, Alison shared a picture of Josie in a gondola in Venice and wrote: “This one is on all next week on This Morning with the amazing Craig Doyle make sure you tune in.”

She wrote on her own grid: “Venice, you beautiful city. What a very special place to see, I just wish I had more time for thee.

“The architecture, art, culture, food, fashion, and elegance have captured my heart. I shall be back….”

Having recently returned from some time off to move house, Alison had a surprise This Morning shake-up of her own this week.

Hollywood hunk Ryan Gosling nicked the daytime presenter’s spot and turned the tables on Alison.

Ryan was joined by co-star Emily Blunt to promote their new movie, The Fall Guy.

Jimmy Carr slammed as ‘rude’ by This Morning viewers
But the cheeky Barbie star turfed Alison out of her seat and took control of the interview.

Alison asked: “Do you remember me, Ryan?”

And without hesitation, a smiling Ryan responded: “Yes!”

Their last meeting in 2017 went viral worldwide, when Ryan was laughing so much he had to leave the set and abandon the interview alongside his Blade Runner 2049 co-star Harrison Ford.

The clip has received over 18 million views online.

Alison recalled: “[Ryan] asked the question, ‘Are you a big fan of the film?’, and I was like, ‘Well, no I’m not! Do I tell him the truth? Do I lie? What do I do?’

“But I thought, you know what, my mum always says, always tell the truth, so I said, ‘I’ve never seen it, babes’, and I think that got things going.

“He started laughing and I started laughing, and it settled the moment.

“After, I thought, ‘Was that any good? Have we got anything? I don’t think we’ve got any content about the film whatsoever.’

“I can remember my producer saying, ‘Don’t worry, we can do something with that, it’ll be fine’.”

The moment shot Alison to fame worldwide and she even received a message from James Corden.

Meanwhile, her fellow This Morning hosts have a particular interest in Ryan’s new flick.

Ben revealed: “A mutual friend of ours wrote that film.

“He was a TV producer here back in the early 2000s…and now he’s writing Hollywood movies.”

Cat added: “Yes, for CD:UK and stuff! Drew Pearce… he did Spiderman before but this is his big one. He’s very good, very clever!”
