David Beckham teases Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez reunion after being pictured with Neymar in Miami

Neymar is doing some travelling as he recovers from an ACL injury.

David Beckham has teased an incredible reunion of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar at Inter Miami.

Messi signed for Inter Miami following the expiry of his PSG contract last summer, becoming the biggest signing in the history of Major League Soccer.

Suarez then joined him in the United States in January after leaving Brazilian giants Gremio, and said he would be finishing his career at the club.

Also at Inter Miami are former Barcelona stars Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba.

Neymar, meanwhile, also left Europe last summer, but opted to join Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal from PSG instead of moving to the States.

But Brazil’s all-time leading goalscorer suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury during a World Cup qualifier against Uruguay in October, ruling him out for the remainder of the season.

The 32-year-old is one of the world’s highest-paid players thanks to his contract with Al Hilal, and will hope to make a successful return ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.

On his official Facebook page, meanwhile, Inter Miami owner Beckham posted a photo of himself, wife Victoria and Neymar enjoying dinner in Miami.

He jokingly captioned the post: “Welcome to Miami my friend (only for dinner),” alongside a laughing emoji.

While Beckham’s post was clearly in jest, it is within the realms of possibility that Neymar could end up as an Inter Miami player in the not-too-distant future.

His contract with Al Hilal lasts only two years, with the option of a third – meaning he could move elsewhere as a free agent as early as 2025.

And Neymar has previously stated that he wants to play with Messi again before he retires from football.

Speaking at the Bahrain Grand Prix earlier in March, he admitted: “Hopefully we can play together again.

“Leo is a great person, everyone knows him in football and I think he is very happy. If he is happy, I am too.”

And he told the Fenomenos podcast, co-hosted by Brazil legend Ronaldo, in 2022: “I don’t know if I’ll play in Brazil again.

“I’d love to play in the US, actually. I’d love to play there at least for a season.”

An MSN reunion would certainly make for brilliant cinema, wouldn’t it?
