A recent survey conducted by The Athletic asked NBA players about who they believed were the most overrated and underrated players of the current season. The survey received responses from 81 NBA players, and Rudy Gobert was voted the most overrated player.

The survey revealed that 11 out of 81 players thought Rudy Gobert, the three-time Defensive Player of the Year, was not as excellent as many people believe him to be.

Following the survey, Gobert’s partner, Julia Bonilla, expressed her disappointment and support for him on Instagram. She mentioned that she fully supports Gobert despite the criticism he has received, especially as he is playing for the Timberwolves in the playoffs.

Rudy Gobert’s Girlfriend, Bonilla, opened up about the result of the survey and defended his love on his Instagram account.

“My partner is the most dedicated, focused, hard-working person I have ever met; he hasn’t stolen anything from anyone and deserves all the respect for his determination and commitment to his career. It’s hard for me to stay quiet in front of so much stupidity, disrespect, and nonsense. I am so proud of the person he is — fair, a great teammate, with a good heart and a strong mind. I am proud of you, and our son is proud of you,” Rudy Gobert’s Girlfriend, Bonilla, said after the result of the poll.

Gobert has played a crucial role in leading the Timberwolves to the NBA Playoffs

Gobert has had significant achievements throughout his career despite any negative remarks. He has been nominated again this season as a finalist for the NBA’s Defensive Player of the Year award.

Gobert has played a crucial role in leading the Timberwolves to the NBA Playoffs, averaging 12.9 rebounds and 14 points per game.

Minnesota is currently leading the Phoenix Suns 1-0 in the first round and may face the reigning NBA champions, the Denver Nuggets, in the next round.
