Era transitions in the NBA are not the easiest. This post-season has highlighted the fact that the once-dominant post-season reign of LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and Kevin Durant has come to an end. While KD and Bron both made it to the first round, they faced a 2-0 deficit, and Curry didn’t even make it through the playoffs. Between the three stars, there are 10 NBA rings and 7 final MVPs.

However, only two of them, LBJ and Steph, have secure futures in the league, according to an ESPN Insider. Recently on ‘Get Up’ Tim Legler said, “I don’t think Steph Curry’s going to play in another jersey besides the Golden State Warriors. I don’t think LeBron James is going anywhere else besides LA. Kevin Durant, who knows? He’s probably more of a wild card.”

He further added, “Doesn’t seem like right now he’s (Kevin Durant) in a particularly great state of mind. He seems a little bit demoralized with what’s going on in Phoenix.” In the end, Lagler concludes by talking about the chances of either of the three winning a championship.

” It’s hard to imagine these three vets, all in their mid to late 30s, being able to currently find it, certainly not in the current situation that they’re in, making another run for the title in the Western Conference,” said Lagler. However, even though title hopes are a longshot in a conference with rising stars like Luka Doncic and Anthony Edwards, there might be one last rodeo for these stars.

Is the Paris Olympics going to be the last big win for Steph, LeBron, and Kevin Durant?

The 2024 Paris Olympics are only a few weeks away, and Team USA is looking for revenge. After a humiliating loss in the FIBA World Cup, USA basketball has assembled the biggest names in the NBA apart from, of course, Steph, LeBron, and KD. Other than them, Joel Embiid, Jayson Tatum, and Jrue Holiday will join the USA’s effort to go for gold in the 2024 Olympics.

While both King James and the Slim Reaper have won gold medals before, this will be the first time Steph will get a taste of Olympic glory. However, even if they win the gold medal, an NBA championship might not be on the horizon for any of the three.

Can either Durant, James, or Curry win another Larry O’Brien Trophy? What do you think? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
