According to the One Piece theory, one of Big Mom’s spouses was Kaido, the commander of the Beast Pirates, with whom she had three children: Katakuri, Daifuku, and Oven.

Big Mom has one of the largest families in the history of One Piece. Her family, also known as the Charlotte family, comprises 85 children, of whom 39 are daughters and 46 are sons. She has had these children since she was eighteen, and she has taken 43 husbands, with her eldest son being Charlotte Perospero and her eldest daughter being Charlotte Compote.

While all the children of Big Mom have been shown in the series, her husbands have been kept a mystery except for Pound, who is Big Mom’s 25th husband and the father of Charlotte Chiffon and Charlotte Lola. The main reason behind Big Mom’s husband being a mystery is that they are not very relevant to the One Piece narrative.

However, according to the One Piece theory, one of Big Mom’s husbands was the captain of the Beast Pirates, Kaido, and together they had three children: Katakuri, Daifuku, and Oven. Although it has not been hinted at in the story, there is some evidence that provides solid proof about Kaido being the father of Big Mom’s three kids.

A post on Reddit by u/Zeta42 pointed out the fact that some of Big Mom’s children look a lot like Kaido. The main emphasis was laid on Charlotte Katakuri (Big Mom’s second son), Charlotte Daifuku (Big Mom’s third son), and Charlotte Oven (Big Mom’s fourth son). The three are some of the strongest kids of Big Mom, and fans got to witness their strength during the Whole Cake Island arc.

Given the timeline, there is a chance that Big Mom and Kaido could have children together as they were a part of the Rocks Pirate’s crew, which was led by Rocks D. Xebec, one of the strongest pirates in the world and a big mystery in the One Piece universe. Big Mom started her own crew at 35, but before that, she and Kaido spent a large part of their lives together.
Katakuri, Daifuku, and Oven
Big Mom gave birth to her first child at the age of 15, and since then, she has given birth every year for the past 42 years. This makes Kaido’s being the father of a few of Big Mom’s children a big possibility.

Katakuri, Oven, and Daifuku Share a Lot of similarities with Kaido

Although the theory has not been confirmed by One Piece, there are a lot of aspects that point out the resemblance between Big Mom’s kids and Kaido. Kaido is one of the tallest characters in One Piece, standing at 710cm. Katakuri, Oven, and Daifuku are the tallest children of Big Mom, ranging from 500 to 600cm.

All three of them are extremely strong physically, and even without their Devil Fruit abilities, they could fight very well, just like Kaido. Although it can be argued that they got their physical strength from Big Mom, their facial features match more with Kaido than Big Mom, adding more support to the theory.

There is a strong possibility that Kaido might be Katakuri, Oven, and Daifuku’s dad. However, the only thing that negates this theory is that when Kaido joined the Rocks Pirates, he was only fifteen years old, and by the time he met Big Mom, she was 24 years old.
