One Piece Returns
Oda Returns After A Three-Week Break
Following the death of Akira Toriyama, the legendary mangaka of the series Dragon Ball, Oda went on a 3-week long break. This came on the back of Toriyama’s passing, and it appears that Oda decided to give more attention to his health than usual. The schedule that mangaka follow is often very hectic and straining, and Oda hardly ever gets as much rest as he deserves. Thankfully, with this break, Oda must be revitalized, and all set to go once again. For the fans, this wait might have been excruciatingly long, however, it is almost over, and next week, One Piece will mark its return to the Weekly Shonen Jump.
Currently, the series is in the Egghead Island arc, and this exciting arc looks all set to continue over the course of the next month or so. That said, fans know that the arc is currently in its very climax, and that it will wrap up sooner rather than later. At the moment, the Straw Hat Pirates are trying their best to escape from Egghead, and it will certainly be very interesting to see if they manage to do so safely or not.
Luffy And The Straw Hats’ Escape

Above all, One Piece chapter 1112 will most certainly focus on Luffy and the Straw Hat pirates escaping from Egghead. Fans know that Luffy was fighting against the Five Elders until recently. However, in the previous chapter, Luffy decided to escape as the goal was not to fight the Elders head-on, after all. Luffy, Dorry, and Brogy, all decided to run towards the ship of the Giant Pirates, as that is where the meeting point is currently. With the Giant Pirates all set to leave from Egghead, fans will be very excited to see the Marines try to stop them, and of course, the Pirates trying to fight them off, in an attempt to get to safety.

Currently, the Straw Hat Pirates are divided into two groups. The first one is on the Labophase, and they recently managed to succeed in regrouping and preparing for their escape. Zoro and Jinbe should be on the ship in One Piece chapter 1112, which means that the ship can then head to the sea and prepare for their escape. Of course, things might be more complicated for them if Saint Marcus decides to chase them down. If that happens, then fans might actually get to see a skirmish between the pirates and the Elders in the upcoming chapter.
Of course, the second part of the pirate crew is on the Fabriophase. The vast majority of the crew is almost on the Giant Pirates’s ship already. Fans know that Franky is currently with Bonney, while Sanji is currently with Vegapunk, between where Luffy is and the ship. One Piece chapter 1112 will also feature some updates on Vegapunk’s message. As things stand, there are about 6 minutes left before Vegapunk’s message is out. That means Vegapunk and all the others will have to fend off for quite some time before the message is officially released. At the moment, Marcus Mars is trying desperately to destroy the control room where the message is coming from. Fans might get an update from York in the next chapter pertaining to the communications center where the message is being transmitted from.
It is interesting to note that Marcus Mars and all the Five Elders believe that the message is being transmitted from the Labophase. However, Oda can play them all if the message is actually not being transmitted from the Labophase, but from some secret space that could be inaccessible to the Five Elders. That would mark a total defeat for the Five Elders, even though they are powerful enough to defeat almost anyone on Egghead. Fans will simply have to wait and see how things proceed from here onwards.
The Iron Giant
The Ancient Robot Is Up and Running Again
Of course, the biggest development that the fans will see in One Piece chapter 1112 once it returns from break is going to be surrounding the Iron Giant. In the previous chapter, the Iron Giant finally got up properly. This Giant has been central to the events of the Egghead Island Arc, and slowly, Oda has been integrating it into the main plot. Earlier in the arc, the Iron Giant finally woke up, and in the previous chapter, it finally stood up and started walking. One Piece chapter 1112 will most likely give fans an update on the Iron Giant. This is an absolutely massive lifesaver for the Straw Hat Pirates, and given that the Giant knew Joy Boy, as was confirmed in the previous chapter, it is almost a certainty that it will help the Straw Hat Pirates out. In fact, the Giant might even end up fighting alongside Luffy and that would certainly be incredibly fun for the fans to witness.

It will be interesting to see what role the Iron Giant plays in this battle, but, at the moment, fans are not sure as to which direction Oda will take this plot point in. The most likely outcome here is going to be the Iron Giant staying behind and opening up an escape route for the Straw Hat Pirates. This would mean that the Iron Giant is going to be up against the Five Elders, which makes for a very interesting battle. At the same time, that would also mean that the Straw Hat Pirates will make it out of Egghead very soon, and set course to Elbaf.
Regardless of what ends up happening in One Piece chapter 1112, fans can rest assured that it is going to be a spectacular return and Oda’s story will continue with great intensity, as always. These are exciting times for One Piece fans, and things will only get better from here onwards.
