One Piece chapter 1112 was absolutely massive for the fans in many ways, amidst the Egghead island arc continuing to edge closer to its end. Right now, the Straw Hat Pirates are dealing with the threat of the Five Elders on Egghead, and things are looking very exciting. In the midst of all the chaotic battles, Oda has recently revealed a powerful villain whose toughness surpasses even that of Kaido, much to the surprise of the fans.

This individual is none other than Saint Topman Warcury of the Five Elders, who has continued to impress throughout the Egghead Island arc, and he will continue to do it in the upcoming chapters as well.

Kaido’s Incredible Toughness In Wano

Kaido Had Incredibly High Durability Due To His Dragon Zoan Fruit

When it comes to toughness, Kaido was its epitome in the One Piece world, not including the Lunarian Lineage Factor ability. Kaido was incredibly tough and this was down to the power of his Mythical Zoan, Uo Uo No Mi, Model: Azure Dragon. This Devil Fruit gave him the powers of a dragon, and as fans know, dragon scales are incredibly difficult to penetrate. No amount of blows would even budge Kaido, and Luffy got first-hand experience of it in Wano. In this arc, Luffy got the chance to fight Kaido, and despite all the powerful Gear Fourth blows he threw his way, Kaido was unscratched. It took Kaido only one blow to knock Luffy out, and this gave Luffy a reality check.

Later on, in Udon Prison, Luffy knew that he had to get stronger if he wanted to defeat Kaido. The biggest obstacle in front of him was to be able to injure Kaido in the first place, given that his defenses were incredibly tough. In terms of durability, Kaido was absolutely unmatched. This is why Luffy learned the ability to utilize Internal Destruction Haki. This power was so incredible that it simply allowed Luffy to push his Haki inside the body of his enemies, and then destroy them from the inside out, as there are no defenses from the inside.

On the rooftop of Onigashima, Luffy finally faced off against Kaido once again, and this time, his Internal Destruction Haki was able to injure him greatly, causing him to bleed. However, these blows were still not deep enough and they still didn’t let Luffy injure Kaido on a deeper level. Once Luffy learned the ability to infuse Conqueror’s Haki as well, he was then able to injure Kaido deeply, from the inside, as is the case with advanced Ryuo. Oda highlighted the fact that Kaido’s defenses were incredibly tough time and again. Now, however, there appears to be a villain with even tougher defenses than Kaido.

How Warcury’s Toughness Surpasses Kaido

Warcury Is Taking Blows Kaido Couldn’t Stand

Right now, it appears that the toughest individual with the highest durability in all of One Piece is none other than Saint Topman Warcury. Fans know that Topman Warcury is one of the Five Elders, and that alone makes him one of the strongest individuals. Warcury has access to tremendously powerful Haki. It appears that all the Five Elders have access to Haki that is on the same level as that of the Emperors, if not stronger. That means he can and very well does coat himself in Conqueror’s Haki, which gives him advanced defenses. This is nothing special, as even the likes of Kaido, Big Mom, Luffy, and just about every Emperor in One Piece does this.

However, what boosts Warcury’s defenses even more is his Yokai-based transformation, that is, the Houki or the Fengxi. Fans know that he can transform into an absolutely massive boar and that this boar is tremendously difficult to injure. In One Piece chapter 1112, Luffy, after running out of Gear 5, decided to go in with a Gear Third Gum Gum Red Roc, and he launched this powerful attack on Warcury’s head, only to injure his very own hand.

How hard is this guy’s skin?

Warcury did not even budge from this attack, which was shocking for the fans to see. Now, this could go in two ways. It is possible that Luffy did not use Internal Destruction Ryuo in his attack, and wrongly assumed that the Elder does not possess that high of a toughness. However, if Luffy did indeed use Ryuo in his attack on Warcury and it still did nothing to him, then, hands down, he possesses the toughest defenses in all of One Piece. The fact that Luffy’s own hand hurt after hitting him just goes to show that nothing can injure him, and, above all, that he is even tougher than Kaido.

In the battle against Kaido, Luffy was easily able to injure him with Ryuo. Even his regular attacks, such as Red Hawk, were being dodged by Kaido because he knew that he would take damage from them. In fact, Kaido was even taking damage from the likes of Zoro and the Scabbards, who were not even using Internal Destruction. In the case of Warcury, this does not seem to be the case. Even the highest level of Armament Haki, which is that of a Yonko, cannot seem to injure him at all, and that just goes to show the incredible toughness that he has. On top of that, this toughness is also boosted further by his awakening. It also gives him extra resilience, and, above all, an incredibly high regeneration factor. Not to add that he is immortal as well. At the moment, Warcury simply looks unbeatable, and that just makes things much worse for the Straw Hat Pirates on Egghead Island.

Is Warcury Stronger Than Kaido?

Of course, Warcury’s durability appears to be much greater than that of Kaido, however, the question of whether he’s stronger than Kaido or not is one that can be debated. For one, fans need to understand that all the Five Elders, regardless of their showing on Egghead, are in the same bracket as the Emperors. Warcury possesses tremendously powerful Haki, just like all the other Elders, which Jinbe indirectly compared to that of Shanks.

This means that all the Elders have Conqueror’s Haki on the level of the Emperors themselves. When it comes to Devil Fruit powers, their Yokai transformations appear to be the strongest of all Zoan, and on top of that they are awakened. In Kaido’s case, his awakening has never been confirmed, and on top of that, he is not a Yokai.

To take things one step further, Warcury is immortal, meaning he absolutely cannot die, no matter what. This essentially does make him stronger than Kaido, and this should not come as a surprise to any fan. The only thing that Kaido has above him is a body better equipped for battle, and, perhaps, high-level usage of advanced Conqueror’s Haki. Warcury has not showcased the usage of advanced Conqueror’s Haki in his attacks right now, however, he most definitely does possess this skill. In fact, fans have not even seen the strongest form of Warcury, which is his hybrid form, as of yet. At his strongest, Warcury can potentially beat even the likes of Kaido, which just goes to show that his level of strength is incredibly high.
