Shanks’s persona as a pirate who can roam freely all over the world and eat and drink whatever they want heavily inspired Luffy to believe that Pirates are some of the freest people in the whole world.

This was also one of the reasons why Luffy wanted to join Shanks’s crew. However, when Shanks rejected Luffy’s idea of sailing through the seas, Luffy decided to form his own crew and achieve the greatest title in the Pirate world. This title was previously held by Shanks’s former captain, Gol D. Roger.

The video was shared by Meme Duka on YouTube eight months ago, and it has generated over 680K views. The video is loved by One Piece fans, and it features Luffy in his Gear 5 form.

In the fanmade video, Luffy has grown up quite a lot, and he has become King of the Pirates. He is married to Boa Hancock and has a son, who now holds the responsibility of the iconic Straw Hat.
