The Minnesota Timberwolves swept the Phoenix Suns in the first-round playoffs series to become the first team to advance to the second round. The Suns, knowing this was their last chance, did everything they could. Particularly Kevin Durant and Devin Booker. ‘Book’ scored a game-high 49 points, a tie for his 2022 road victory over the Nuggets. Although he gave it all to set a new season high, Anthony Edwards had other plans.

In what is leaked audio of the ANT trash-talking Devin Booker has been released by none other than LegendZ on X. As Booker was going up for a shot that would have gotten him his 50, Edwards blocked it and proceeded to start trash-talking. “Get that sh*t out of here n***a! Yea.” Not done with it yet, Ant continued the tirade when walking back.

“Hell yeah! That’s how you f***ing play, boy. Get their a** out of here! Talkin’ all that sh*t, man. Get their a** out of here,” he said, all the way through the tunnel.

Given how Devin Booker was already at 49, there was also the chance of him breaking his own record. But Edwards and Rudy Gobert were on his case and when he drove for a lay-up, the pair met him smack at the rim. The 2x All-Star had his fair share of troubles, too. Two times in last night’s game, injuries closed in on him.

First, it was Naz Reid landing on his foot. And then, it was Bradley Beal, again, on his foot. And since that was Beal’s sixth personal foul, he had to return to the bench. The oft-injured player was out of it himself. He had a dismal nine points in 31 minutes. In short, the Suns never reached even half of what the Big 3 should have been capable of. And the Minnesota Timberwolves took complete advantage of the discord, be it between teammates or coach.

Amidst all the noise in Phoenix, Stephen A. Smith has decided to add in a little music of his own.

After LeBron James claim, Stephen A. Smith has Devin Booker on the watchlist for a move to New York

When the “King” was dropping his love for New York and Lady Liberty all over X, the veteran analyst was overjoyed that James would finally be in a Knicks jersey. He talked nonstop about how his addition to Jalen Brunson and Co. would turn them into an unstoppable team. Now, he’s turned his attention to Devin Booker.

The shocking early end to the hyped Big 3 had Stephen A. talk about Book’s apparent interest in the Knicks. “From what I’m being told, I don’t know if it’ll ever happen, Devin Booker wants to be in New York. That’s what I’m being told,” he said in First Take.

“Now he might deny it. I haven’t spoken to him. I’m just telling you. The scuttlebutt in the NBA circles is that [the] brother wants to be in New York.” Well, Booker wasn’t happy with the outcome and he said as much post-game. He also mentioned how the three of them and coach Vogel had to take accountability for this season’s failure.

Since we are yet to receive any official confirmation on the same, let’s hope this isn’t the end of the Big 3 experiment.
