In a recent episode of ‘First Take,’ Stephen A. Smith, who is the host of the show on ESPN and a well-known American sports television personality, discussed Draymond Green’s comments about Jamal Murray’s act of throwing a heating pad during Game 2. Smith firmly believes that Murray’s behavior was unacceptable and he should face suspension for his actions.

“That is no problem. I hope that he is not suspended because I am very fond of Jamal Murray. But this is not what this is about. This is about the fact that he committed an act that even Draymond Green himself concedes could have been very dangerous. That warrants a suspension for a game or, at the least, a very stiff fine. I can understand Draymond Green, but it is not coming to his mind. Why would it? Of course, you feel that way; you are a player, first of all, champion, and third, you have had your share of suspensions. You may have deemed some of them unfair, so of course, you feel that way. That is why you have neutralized looking at this, not somebody jaded by being a participant in the profession, who would be more prone to exercising a level of leniency toward one of their contemporaries.” Stephen A. Smith said.

Jamal Murray secretly flung a heat pack from the bench area late in the first half

The Minnesota Timberwolves won the second game of the 2024 NBA playoff series against the Denver Nuggets. Jamal Murray, who sat on the bench for the first half, was vocal in his criticism of the referees. Murray secretly flung a heat pack from the bench area late in the first half.

As Towns attempted a step forward, the hot pack skidded across the court, narrowly missing his foot. Authorities frantically rushed to remove the foreign object, causing a brief pause in play. When the heat pack was removed, the game resumed.
