Jalen Brunson is royalty in New York right now.

The point guard is one of the biggest reasons for the changes in the Knicks’ fortunes and continues to lead them to wins despite Julius Randle getting ruled out for the remainder of the season.

Brunson fired the New York Knicks to another win on Wednesday night, helping them take down the Boston Celtics with a 39-point explosion that secured a 118-109 victory.

The former Dallas Mavericks guard was on the sideline making an inbounds pass at some point during last night’s game when cameras caught a smokeshow female fan fake-biting him and trying to sniff him.

My boy is taken by a lovely wife,” one fan wrote. “We want none of those girls!!

Jalen Brunson For MVP?

Should Jalen Brunson win the MVP award this year? One of his teammates would give it to him if he could.

He should win MVP,” OG Anunoby, who joined the Knicks via trade earlier in the season, said after the game.

The Celtics have already locked up home-court advantage throughout the playoffs, so it appears they took their foot off the gas and trailed by as many as 31 points in the third quarter.

The win was a third-straight for New York and their fifth in the last six games. The Knicks can clinch the third spot in the Eastern Conference with a win over the Brooklyn Nets on Friday and could still compete with the Milwaukee Bucks for second place with two games left to play.

With Giannis Antetokounmpo out for the remainder of the regular season and Brunson balling out, a second-place finish is a real possibility.
