Today’s 123-116 win over the Utah Jazz did nothing to change the Warriors’ place in the Western Conference standings. The Warriors have been sitting around the 10th seed for the past month, and today’s performances by the Los Angeles Lakers, Phoenix Suns, and Sacramento Kings ensured that they would stay there.

The Warriors’ first Play-in Tournament matchup will be against the 9th seed Kings. If the Warriors bounce the kings, they will play the loser of the 7th and 8th seed matchup — either the New Orleans Pelicans or the Lakers.

If the Warriors make it through the Play-In tournament, they will be seeded at 8th and match up against the 1st seed Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round of the playoffs.

Luckily, today’s game proved that the Warriors’ bench rotation has a lot of life left in them. Over the last few regular season games, struggling big men Dario Šarić and Kevon Looney seemed to spring back to life, and two-way players Gui Santos and Lester Quinones have proved their places on the roster. The Warriors know better than anyone that the playoffs are anyone’s game — they just have to make sure it’s theirs.

“We just got to go win,” Draymond Green said after today’s game. “When this team’s back is against the wall, I like how this group shows up.”
