The Golden State Warriors have so far had a pretty up and down 2023-24 NBA season.

Warriors squander first half lead in 123-111 loss to Pacers - Golden State Of Mind

Steph Curry

Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors played host to the visiting Indiana Pacers at the Chase Center, in San Francisco. The Pacers went home victorious after a nail-biting game with a scoreline of 123-111. Curry was left upset after the game.

Stephen Curry pulled a sad demeanor when he gave his obligatory post-game press conference. The Warriors were the favorites to win but just fell short and gave the Pacers their 2nd straight win in a row.

Curry was asked what he thought about his team’s collective inconsistency and its impact on their season.

I wish I knew cos then we’d be able to get ahead of it but every game is a little something different… Especially when every game matters and every game counts. There needs to be a sense of urgency.

Stephen Curry said as a response during post match press confernce

Curry has every reason to be worried, especially with the in-form Houston Texas, situated just below the Dubs and they are the most in-form team in the league with a 9-1 record in their last 10 games. The Dubs need to work on their inconsistency if they are to successfully clinch a place in the playoffs.

Warriors’ inconsistency costs them again against the Indiana Pacers

The Golden State Warriors continued their season trend of inconsistent performances as they failed to make their home court a fortress while playing against the Indiana Pacers. At the moment, Curry and Co. have a lot to do to ensure they secure a place in the playoffs via the play-in tournament.

Tyrese Haliburton appeared to pick up form at the right time as he led the player’s statistics chart with 26 points, two rebounds, and 11 assists, assisted by Pascal Siakam, who had 25 points, 16 rebounds, and six assists. Veteran guard, Steph Curry ended the game with 25 points, 11 rebounds, and five assists.

With this loss, the Dubs have lost momentum as they had hoped to make a deep run to get up the table. The Warriors still have a chance to make amends during their next match against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
