BREAKING NEWS : Update on the Man Utd – Frenkie De Jong deal
Talking to GIVEMESPORT, journalist Dean Jones had remarkable shares surrounding a potential target of Manchester United.
Discussing the possibility of Manchester United restarting their plan to recruit Frenkie De Jong, journalist Dean Jones said:
“It’s strange that after all the noise and talk about Man Utd signing De Jong , then that deal not happening, now he appears on the market. Man Utd had a bit of bad luck, I guess. But it’s an interesting thing to ponder.”
De Jong is said to be able to leave Barca at the end of the season.
“I have to say, at the moment, I don’t know how realistic the chances are of this deal being restarted . The problem is not De Jong’s presence in the transfer market, but what he wants and what Man United are looking for next. The model at Old Trafford is changing . Now, they won’t sign a player just because of Ten Hag.”
“Similarly, from De Jong’s perspective, he wants to join a team with little chance of failure. He has had a difficult couple of seasons, and making the wrong move in the summer could ruin his career.”
