Brittany Matthews Mahomes simply cannot catch a break.

Power couple Brittany and Patrick Mahomes, known for their enviable relationship, participated in GQ Sports’ Couples Quiz this year, and although it was supposed to be cute and funny, many came away upset over how Brittany answered one question.

Patrick asked his wife at one point, “What’s my favorite cheat day meal?”

Brittany confidently answered, “Fried Chicken.”

Patrick said no and she then stated “Chicken Fried steak.”

The Kansas City Chiefs QB then stated it was Mexican food.

Social media blasted her for her answers because Patrick Mahomes is man who is mixed and has a Black father and a white mother. A lot of people like to associate chicken with Black people.

Mahomes finished last season with 5,614 yards — 5,250 yards passing, 358 yards rushing, and 6 yards receiving — to set the all-time record.

Mahomes’ Super Bowl 57 MVP capped off a stellar year for the Chiefs quarterback. He led the NFL with 5,250 passing yards and 41 touchdowns in the regular season, the only quarterback to eclipse 5,000 passing yards and 40 touchdowns this year.

His statistics earned him the NFL MVP honor as well. He is the seventh quarterback to win both the NFL MVP and Super Bowl MVP awards in the same season.

His wife might think he’s a chicken eater, but there is nothing chicken about this legendary quarterback who is going to continue to do great things.
