Question: How would you define what you experienced on Sunday at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu?

Answer: It [attending El Clasico] was very exciting, it was amazing. I hadn’t seen a football match for a long time and it was really good. It was an amazing stadium and I really enjoyed it.

Q: When you went down to the dressing room, did you meet any specific players?

A: Yes, I met Luka Modric, Toni Kroos, Jude [Bellingham], Vini, Toni [Rudiger]… they are a great team and I loved the way they celebrated the victory and the atmosphere in the dressing room.

Q: Is it a stadium on par with NFL stadiums?

A: It’s a great stadium. A lot of work has been done to transform an old stadium into a new stadium and it’s a great experience. It’s amazing, the crowd is very loud, it’s got fantastic technology. I love it.

Q: What is the secret of your success, perhaps discipline?

A: The number of great teammates I’ve had. And also the coaches. Then I put all my will, my energy, my enthusiasm into everything I did. But I repeat that it was the team that led me to achieve a great personal career and seven rings. I was always in great teams.
