The British actor, who was in a relationship with Swift from 2017 to 2023, is “dating and happy,” a source told People. Alwyn is “focused on work,” the insider added, noting: “He’s a great guy and not into drama in any way.”

After Swift and Alwyn’s breakup was revealed in April 2023, the “Guilty as Sin?” artist briefly dated Matty Healy in May before settling down with Kelce later that summer. Alwyn, for his part, has also “moved on,” the insider told the outlet.

The Harriet star “certainly doesn’t talk poorly about [Taylor]. He was in love with her, and it just didn’t work out,” the source noted.

The insider also reiterated Alwyn’s hatred for the spotlight, which many believe was the cause of the couple’s split. (Fans have frequently theorized that the lyrics of Swift’s Midnights track “Bejeweled” — specifically the lines, “Don’t put me in the basement / When I want the penthouse of your heart” — refer to Alwyn’s desire for privacy.)
