Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are two of the most popular people in the world right now because of each other.

Their relationship became public knowledge when Swift started showing up at Chiefs games, with the singer attending her first game on September 24 to watch Kansas City beat the Chicago Bears 41-10.

Well, according to Chiefs defensive backs coach Dave Merritt, the aforementioned outing wasn’t Taylor’s first for the season as she had been attending them privately before the networks caught up to her and started showing her on TV.

“When [Taylor] started to come around, it was privately,’ he said during an interview on ‘The Sports Shop with Reese and K-Mac’ (H/T the New York Post). “She was coming into the stadiums without people knowing until the camera put a big spotlight on it.”

That Bears game was the Chiefs’ third of the regular season. So we have to wonder whether Swift was around for the home opener against the Detroit Lions, which the Chiefs lost, or whether she started attending when they played the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 2.

As far as fans know, Swift attended 13 Chiefs games last season. She was there to celebrate with Kelce after he helped the team win the Super Bowl on February 11, kissing him for the world to see before flying to Australia.
