There was an unusual combination at UFC 300 on Saturday night. The T-Mobile Arena hosted the much-awaited bout between Alex Pereira and Jamahal Hall, and Kyler Murray wasn’t going to miss it.

It was a starry affair. Besides the Arizona Cardinals quarterback, former world champion Mike Tyson and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg arrived to enjoy a great fight.

However, Murry perhaps wasn’t expecting another familiar face in the UFC circle to occupy his neighboring seat. It was none other than former UFC flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko.

While her presence was not surprising because of her line of work, this unusual combination of the NFL quarterback and Muay Thai fighter drew a lot of attention on social media. Even Murray himself acknowledged the same on X.

Earlier that day, Shevchenko posted a video getting ready to depart for the main event in Vegas. The 36-year-old captioned the post, “It’s fight night, #UFC 300.

She also uploaded several video clips to her storyboard. One of them included the jumbotron showing her and Murray together. Fortunately, it wasn’t the kiss cam.

Kyler Murray’s 2024 aspirations with the Cardinals

The Sooners graduate will be entering his sixth season with the Cardinals. Despite several reports of him moving away, Kyler Murray remained in Arizona and is looking forward to the 2024 season.

In an interview with The Schmo at the Celebrity Slam Jam Basketball Game during the Final Four Weekend, Murray revealed his upcoming goals.

Honestly, man, for me, to be blessed and in the NFL is a dream of mine to be where I'm at right now. So to live that out, my biggest goal is to win Super Bowls. So we got to get there. As far as everything I've accomplished, I'm not satisfied.

Kyler Murray said

Murray played eight games last season after returning from a lengthy period out with an ACL injury. Although a serviceable regular-season quarterback, Murray has only played one game in the postseason. Arizona should be looking to make some major additions in the 2024 NFL Draft. They have six picks in the first three rounds
