Alice Cooper Reveals His Hilarious Advice To Johnny Depp Regarding Amber Heard

Amid preparations for a European tour with his band Hollywood Vampires, Alice Cooper recently had a light-hearted chat with Classic Rock. In this conversation, he recounted a humorous meeting with bandmate Johnny Depp, which included a playful suggestion about Depp’s ex-spouse, Amber Heard.

Recollecting the memory, the Godfather of Shock shared:

“I hadn’t seen Johnny or Joe for three and a half years. We finished the last tour, and covid happened. So I walked into the dressing room, saw Johnny and said: ‘So-oooo… What’s new? [Laughs] Did I see you on television or something.’ Then I told him:

‘I either have the best or the worst idea of all time… You and Amber should do a remake of ‘The War Of The Roses.’ It’d be a bloodbath. Every day there’d be something in the paper about somebody throwing a shoe or something. Then to make it go over the top, have Brad [Pitt] and Angie [Jolie] as your lawyers.’ He started laughing, and then he went: ‘That’s not a bad idea.’”

Cooper, not just a bandmate but a supportive friend to the actor, has backed him up during his legal fallout with Heard. He talked with Page Six in 2021 to reject the allegations directed toward Depp. At the time, the singer stated:

“Johnny is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met in my life. He is the most harmless human being I’ve ever met, so I’m not buying into all of the other stories at because I know him, and everybody else who knows him knows that.”

The legal battle between the ex-couple resulted in favor of Johnny Depp in 2022. The actor and musician continued his career after that, although he stays mostly away from the public eye.

As we look forward to Hollywood Vampires’ tour, the guitarist keeps working on his film projects while there’s more for music from Cooper’s end. The vocalist is presently invested in creating a new album titled ‘Road,’ which is themed around the journey and experiences of being on tour.
