Bruce Willis was seen starring in the action-packed trailer for the upcoming feature Fortress.

In the clip, which was released on Wednesday, the 66-year-old Pulp Fiction star showed his tough side while protecting an idyllic resort community from a criminal hellbent on taking out the retired intelligence officer.

The upcoming feature is currently being marketed as the first installment in a planned trilogy of flicks.

The trailer begins with Paul, played by Jesse Metcalfe, being led around the tropical Forge Mountain Retreat by Kate, portrayed by Kelly Greyson, who makes a point of listing all of its amenities.

Willis’ character, Robert, then meets up son Paul before he is seen practicing with a shooting target.

The compound is later shown being attacked by a group of mercenaries, and an alarm goes off, startling Metcalfe’s character.

When Paul asks his father about why the community would have to defend itself against a siege, Robert simply tells him: ‘It’s complicated.’

Ulysses, played by Ser’Darius Blain, then shows a hostage a photo of Willis’ character and inquires about his location.

Robert instructs his son to make it to ‘the fortress,’ where he is seen entering a high-tech bunker before the mercenaries, led by Frederick Balzary, attack the compound.

When Kate asks about why the criminal, played by Chad Michael Murray, would assault the community, Willis’ character identifies himself as his target.

Although Paul expresses his doubts about his father’s skill with weapons, he sees Robert using a pistol with considerable ease, which placates his concerns.

Balzary is then shown speaking to military official Dobbs, played by Shannen Doherty, and tells her that he has ‘a serious grievance with your government.’

As the mercenaries further attack the compound, the criminal ominously tells her that he will be ‘knocking on your door.’

Balzary later begins striking a tied-up and bloodied Robert multiple times before he expresses: ‘No one robs from me.’

Kate then shows off her protective side while escorting Paul through the compound and defending them both from the mercenaries.

When Robert tells Balzary that he ‘should have killed’ him in the past, the criminal mocks his target by telling him: ‘Should have, would have, could have.’

The soldier then asks Willis’ character about his last words, and he ominously states that ‘all transactions are final.’

The trailer ends with Paul asking his father if he will be escaping with him, to which Robert responds: ‘No, I’m having fun.’

Development on the feature was initially announced this past May, when Deadline revealed that the film had just begun shooting in Puerto Rico.
