Free Agent Outfielder Chooses Dodgers Hat For Social Media Post, Sparking Fan Reactions -TH

Free agent outfielder Kyle Lewis posted a very interesting story on his Instagram page on Thursday evening. Lewis was donning a Los Angeles Dodgers hat in the video, sparking much debate on social media from Dodger fans.

Here’s a screenshot from the video:

Nothing has been reported on the Dodgers’ transaction log regarding a potential signing of Lewis.

The 28-year-old played for the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2023 after spending the first four years of his career with the Seattle Mariners.

The 2020 American League Rookie of the Year winner has struggled ever since the COVID-shortened season. Last year, he appeared in just 16 games with Arizona, slashing .157/.204/.255/ with one home run, two runs batted in and 21 strikeouts.

In his career, Lewis has appeared in 146 games and is slashing .235/.317/.414 with 26 home runs, 59 RBIs and 177 strikeouts.

If this video was a hint of a potential signing — and that’s a major if — it would likely be a minor league deal.

Dodger fans took to social media to debate what this video meant. Here are some of the best reactions:
