Three years before he was diagnosed with the condition, the actor worked with an Auto Parts company to appear in an advertisement alongside fellow actor De’voreaux White. Actor De’voreaux White appeared as Argyle, the limousine driver, in 1988’s Die Hard. In an interview with DailyMail, White explained that he met his Die Hard co-star Bruce Willis once again after more than 30 years but it was his last meeting with the actor before he was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia,

“I said, ‘Where the f**k have you been? I could have been dead by now!’ We both looked at each other. And then he just put his hand over his mouth, and he bit down. Oh, I just started laughing – and we hugged and everything. And that’s what occurred. The experience was awesome. Oh, it was awesome.”

White met Willis in 2019 when the two appeared together in an advertisement for an Auto Parts company. For White, Willis will always remain as an idol who inspired him to become an actor.
