In fact, Flockhart and Ford have never done a film despite meeting in 2002. After marriage, the couple went on to adopt a son Liam, which then prompted the Brothers and Sisters actor to step back from her acting career to spend more time at home. In a 2012 interview with The Guardian, Flockhart elaborated on her decisions post marriage and said,

“Right now I’m focusing on sixth grade, football games and getting through homework. I have no big plan. I’m a normal mum and yes, I’m also a theatre junkie, but my family is my priority. That’s what guides me.”

The Supergirl star’s commitment to home and family could also have been the reason for not actively thinking about collaborating with her husband in a movie. While Flockhart has hinted that she was open and eager to do a film with Ford if the right project came by, she did not intentionally seek this opportunity as family was of prime importance to her at the moment.
