Johnny Depp is famous for his way of using words and telling interesting stories, but not for his sense of humour. Ricky Gervais reveals why that’s a good thing.

"If people knew what he's like, his career would be over": Even Ricky Gervais Is Terrified Johnny Depp's Wicked Sense Of Humor Will Get Him Canceled

What makes an A-list Hollywood star even more amazing and desirable is their unique and interesting way of communication and the interesting stories they have to tell. In this regard, stars like Johnny Depp can be easily remembered for his almost poetic words with equally unbelievable and bizarre tales of his life that he likes telling the world.

But what most people may be unaware of is the fact that he also possesses a sense of humor, and not the normal hilarious kind. In the past, Ricky Gervais revealed that while working with the star, he came to know just how sick his mind can be when he thinks of a joke, so much so that he may get into serious trouble one day because of it.

So far, we have seen the star create headlines with his blockbuster and cult-classic films as well as his music, but rarely have we gotten a glimpse into what goes in the mind of Johnny Depp when it comes to humor.

This was once revealed when comedian Ricky Gervais opened up about how dirty-minded the star could be if he talks what he thinks.

In a past episode of The Graham Norton Show, the Edward Scissorhands star was sitting with Gervais and talking about his appearance on his show Life’s Too Short. Here, the comic revealed that if Depp were left on his own with his humor, he would surely be canceled. Supporting this, he recalled the episode where he was shooting a scene with Warwick Davis.

Here, when Gervais was pushing Davis down the toilet for the shoot, Depp was standing close by, and seeing them perform the scene, he interjected, asking if he could mast*rbate while they continued doing the scene. This joke had such sick timing that the comedian couldn’t help but laugh uncontrollably for a good while.

Just goes to show how Depp can even be hilarious, although, in a very not safe for work kind of a way.

The series was first aired in 2011 with one season on BBC’s Channel Two, which features Warwick Davis as himself along with stars Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant.

This show is a mockumentary that follows the life of a showbiz dwarf, who is played by Davis. He decides to invest his time into creating this little documentary series to uplift his career as well as earn some cash in the process, especially after he had a messy divorce recently, which demands a dire need for money.
