Kendall Jenner has been slammed by fans for wearing a real fur coat in recent Instagram snaps from Aspen, Colorado.

The model, 28, shared a number of photos on Tuesday, which saw her wearing a $27,000 tri-color Phoebe Philo shearling (which is sheep or lamb) fur coat.

However, many fans were not impressed and called out the reality TV star for wearing real and not faux fur, despite being known as an animal lover and a lifelong equestrian.

One commentator called Jenner and her outfit choice ‘vile’ and asked: ‘How many innocent ANIMALS DIED for her to post stupid duck lipped photos?’

Another person told Kendall — who recently split from rapper Bad Bunny —
‘You are dressed in blood.’

Someone else joked that she was channeling a ‘Chewbacca Barbie’ in the fur.

The comments continued to pour in, with someone else adding: ‘Fur coats are the death of animals.’

‘How can you wear real fur? Shame,’ another added. ‘Turning into an insensitive gal who walks around with slaughtered animals on her skin for fashion. Hope you feel cool about it.’

‘Gorgeous except for the animal covering,’ yet another fan chimed in, while someone else pondered, ‘Why would you even have a fur coat in California?’

‘You say you love animals, and yet you choose to post the look with real fur. Not a good look.’

‘You should know better… grow up,’ a comment on Instagram read.

‘There’s literally animal blood on your hands,’ one commentator shared, as another added: ‘Real fur? Ew just ew.’

‘Oh wow, she is really into displaying a good amount of (murdered) animal skins these days… So great for an “animal lover” as she defines herself.’

‘Awful woman for wearing real there’s no need.’

‘Not her wearing a coat made of bunnies,’ someone else wrote, though Kendall’s coat was not made of rabbit fur.

Earlier in the day TV personality – who has been enjoying a festive trip to Aspen alongside close pals such as Hailey and Justin Bieber – showed off her fur look while also plugging her 818 Tequila brand in the array of images.

In one of the photos, the supermodel could be seen sitting on a bench outdoors while wearing the coat.

As she lounged underneath a bright spotlight, the reality star also donned a pair of black tights as well as closed-toed, black shoes to complete the look.

Her brunette locks were parted in the middle, and effortlessly flowed down past her shoulders in light waves.

She opted for minimal accessories to allow the outfit to be the main focal point, and added a pair of flashy, gold earrings.

Kendall’s makeup was classically done, and comprised of a layer of mascara to her lashes as well as a warm blush to better accentuate her cheekbones.

For a finishing touch to the overall look, the star wore a nude-colored, matte tint on her lips.

In another image, the media personality paused for a selfie which she took in the reflection of a mirror while standing inside a spacious bathroom.

She held up her smartphone in her hand as she struck a quick pose to better show off her eye-catching outfit.

Jenner also included another selfie in her Instagram carousel that was taken as she lounged on what appeared to be a comfortable chair.

The reality star took a photo of her 818 Tequila bottle that contained a tag that read: ‘Kendall’s tequila.’ The beauty notably launched the brand in 2021.

To conclude the post, Kendall also enjoyed an espresso martini and lifted up the full glass underneath a FWRD sign. She has been the creative director of the e-commerce company also beginning in 2021.

She was previously seen wearing the eye-catching coat when she stepped out for a dinner with friends in Aspen.
