Cardi B freaked out at her personal bodyguard who was probably doing more than what was expected from him, while she was performing on stage.

In the video, the bodyguard who felt the New York rapper was exposing herself in her short skirt while on stage, is seen trying to drag down her skirt, before she turned towards him and lashed out seriously.

Since the video surfaced online, angry fans have been blasting the bodyguard for doing too much on stage.

Cardi B’s concert streak is still going strong, and her energy for concertgoers and the Bardi gang is even stronger.

But after she mistakenly redirected some negative energy to her security guard, who was helping her avoid a risky onstage wardrobe malfunction, Cardi did what we know her to do best: kept it real.

A video of the incident shows the guard pulling down her miniskirt from behind her as she performed. From the footage, it’s clear that his goal is to keep the piece from lifting up too high and revealing Cardi’s sexy parts. However, when Cardi whips around and snaps at him, he backs off immediately.

In typical digital era fashion, the video made its social media rounds, with fans questioning exactly what was going on. Cardi then took to Twitter to not only address the stage mix-up, but to defend the guard, whom some accused of trying to get close to Cardi on unprofessional terms.

“Dear everybody my security was just trying to look out!” she wrote. “My skirt kept rising up. I got upset [because] he put so much force pulling it down I thought I would fall!”

She went on to praise and send love to her loyal security team as well. Reposting the tweet to her Instagram, Cardi added that she felt compelled to address the situation so that no one confused the guard’s intentions.

“I had to let y’all know [because] I don’t want people to think my security [is an] a**hole,” she continued. “He always looking out for me!”

While replying to her fans, Cardi B’s personal bodyguard whose IG handle is @hand5ome88, said:

‘@dabaddiecardib you got me looking fucking crazy you know who I am all I was trying to do was protect my client your wild for this take this shit down.’
