Offset criticized Cardi B fans who referenced Takeoff’s death on Saturday.
One day earlier, Cardi B got emotional while discussing her and Offset’s breakup on Instagram Live.
The pair met in 2017 and got married the same year.

Offset criticized internet users referencing the death of Takeoff, his cousin and former Migos member, amid his breakup with Cardi B.

Offset, 32, spoke out on Saturday with two posts on X, formerly known as Twitter, where his split with Cardi B, 31, is a hot topic. He specifically took issue with users mentioning Takeoff, who was fatally shot in Houston in November 2022.

Offset, Takeoff, and Quavo — who are all related — performed in a rap group called Migos. The Grammy-nominated trio released popular songs like ‘Bad and Boujee’ in 2016 and ‘Motorsport’ in 2018.

‘Fan wishing death on takeoff is crazy yal lil ass better chill,’ Offset wrote in one post.

Offset’s posts come one day after Cardi B blasted him on Instagram Live. The former couple, who share two children, Kulture, 5, and Wave, 2, met in 2017 and married that same year.

The relationship’s ups and downs, including previous breakups and cheating accusations, played out in the headlines.

In the video, which was recirculated on X, Cardi B claimed Offset ‘really likes to play games with me at my most vulnerable time. When I’m not the most confident.’

Cardi B announced that she and Offset were separated on December 11 during a previous Instagram Live.

‘I’ve been single for a minute now, but I’ve been afraid to like… Not afraid, I just don’t know how to tell the world,’ she said, adding that she’s looking forward to new opportunities.

‘So I want to start 2024 like fresh, open. I don’t know. I’m curious for a new life, or a new beginning and, yeah, I’m excited,’ she said.
