Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire wore baseball caps to a black-tie affair in New York City on Tuesday evening.

They joined a cavalcade of big names who flooded into Cipriani Wall St. for Denise Rich’s annual Angel Ball, Page Six revealed.

Tobey and Leo watched that night as their old pal, the nightlife king Richie Akiva, was feted with an Angel Of Light Award.

Richie’s bond with the two actors stretches back to the the 1990s, when the trio led a group of men about town famously dubbed the ‘P***y Posse’ in New York magazine.

Their enduring friendship was in evidence Tuesday as Tobey and Leo lent their support to Richie’s latest society coup.

One of the New York icons present was Candace Bushnell, author of the original Sex And The City column that spawned all the TV shows and movies.

During his acceptance speech, Richie confessed that the prize was ‘a little bittersweet’ amid the latest grisly flare-up of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

“With all the turmoil going on in the world today, and I’ve been so immersed in the last two weeks with that’s going on,’ he confessed: ‘It’s really taken a lot from me.’
