As football fans settle in for the Christmas matchups, Kansas City Chiefs tight-end Travis Kelce will find himself on the field, facing off against the Las Vegas Raiders in a festive showdown on Christmas day. Despite his work commitments on the holiday, the NFL star told People that it will be a “fun one.” But does that include plans with Taylor?
Well, so far we know that the Kelce family definitely has something planned for Christmas. The Chiefs star revealed to People, “My brother sent me a text and said he’s going to be celebrating afterwards.” While Travis remained tight-lipped about the details, he confirmed that Christmas festivities will be in full swing post-game, either on Christmas day itself or the following day.
Mama Kelce, known for her game-day doubleheaders, will face a scheduling challenge as she aims to support both Travis and his brother Jason Kelce, who plays for the Philadelphia Eagles, with their games taking place just a few hours apart. The mother of two told People she plans to start in Philadelphia with Jason, his wife Kylie, and their three kids. Following the festivities in Philly, the matriarch plans to jet off to Kansas City for another round of celebrations, likely culminating in another Chiefs’ game scheduled for Dec. 31 against the Cincinnati Bengals.

While the lovebirds spent Thanksgiving and their birthdays apart, it seems that their Christmas celebration is shaping up to be a touchdown. The couple, who debuted their relationship earlier this year, reportedly have “big plans” to spend Christmas and the New Year together.
Sources previously told Us Weekly that the NFL tight-end had already started Christmas shopping. “Travis has already started Christmas shopping and has some really special surprises [for Taylor] in store,” a source told the site. “Their connection is off the charts, and they can’t wait to celebrate together.
Despite their busy careers, Taylor and Travis have been coordinating their schedules to make the most of their time together. “Taylor and Travis have the next few months completely laid out. They don’t want to start their relationship off with big gaps [in time spent apart]. They’re trying to be as much like a regular couple as possible,” a second source told the outlet.
The Midnights singer has become a familiar face at Travis’ games over the last few weeks. From Massachusetts to Kansas City, Taylor has been there to witness the highs and lows of the Chiefs’ NFL season. Recently, the singer made headlines for her heated reaction when her beau was tackled in the end zone during a matchup against the New England Patriots. While it remains to be seen whether or not Taylor will be in attendance again on Travis’ Christmas day game, we wouldn’t be surprised if we see her cheering him on again from the stands.
