The two-time Super Bowl champion thanked each of his five teams in a video posted to social media on Tuesday

Check it out below:

Ryan, 33, was a third-round pick by the Patriots in 2013 and spent four years with the team, winning two Super Bowls in the process. He made 755 tackles, 19 interceptions, 98 pass breakups, and 15 forced fumbles in 154 career games.

He only missed out on playoff football in three of his 11 years and, while he was never considered an elite DB, teams respected what he brought to defenses, so much so, he got a call from San Francisco midway through last season while he was on a cruise with his family.

Once I knew the 49ers were interested, at that point, there wasn’t any drinking on the cruise, and I occupied that gym quite a bit,” he said after joining the team. “It was cool. It was my first Thanksgiving on a boat.

Logan Ryan Was An Important Player For The San Francisco 49ers

Ryan made five regular-season appearances with the Niners and played 78 percent of their defensive snaps in the Super Bowl. Head coach Kyle Shanahan talked up the way he was able to move into the role of a starting safety at a moment’s notice.

Ryan can also boast being the man who intercepted Tom Brady’s last pass as a Patriot, with his pick-six helping the Titans beat the Pats in the AFC Wild Card Round in 2019.

The former defensive stud has announced that there is “a lot more in store,” suggesting fans haven’t seen the last of him.
