Now, in response to recent criticism, the Under The Influence singer responded on Friday on social media. This critique was sparked by Chloe Bailey’s revelation that she is collaborating with Brown on her new single How Does It Feel.

American singer, songwriter, dancer, and actor also tried to place the blame on other white celebrities who, in his opinion, had been pardoned for prior allegations of domestic abuse.

Chris Brown took to his Instagram to criticize cancellation culture on Friday. He attempted to brush aside his assault on his ex-girlfriend Rihanna as a “mistake” he committed when she was just 17 years old.

Rihanna’s ex responded to a tweet from former Cheetah Girls member Kiely Williams on his Instagram Story. Williams had earlier added her voice to the chorus of critics of Brown’s planned collaboration with Chloe Bailey.

“Let [Brown] come out with his own record—so brilliant, so captivating that it makes us all forget HE BEATS WOMEN,” she wrote in a tweet.

In a flurry of text posts uploaded to his Instagram Stories, Look at Me Now artist even complained that he wasn’t able to receive the second chance that he thought had been given to so many other celebrities.

When Bailey revealed on Thursday that Brown would appear on the second single from her upcoming album In Pieces, the most recent backlash against him got started. That information sparked vehement criticism from commentators who criticized her choice to collaborate with an artist who had such a well-established history of abuse.

In addition to his infamous relationship with the Umbrella singer, he has allegedly been accused of threatening to kill his ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran, threatening a woman with a gun, and raping ‌a woman in a Parisian hotel.

He then tried to deflect attention by mentioning other famous people who had been charged with crimes that were similar to the one he had admitted. One of the most successful R&B singers started by asking,

Stay out my way or get ran over simple as that! None of you, and I mean none of you n****s, can f*** witt me.”

Following that, Chris Brown posted a lengthy list of celebrities who have been accused of domestic abuse to his Instagram Stories, including Mel Gibson, Sean Penn, Nicolas Cage, Tommy Lee, Ozzy Osbourne, Slash, Steven Seagal, Charlie Sheen, the late James Caan, and Vince Neil.

Chloe Bailey’s followers erupted in rage on social media on Thursday after she teased the track with Brown by posting a picture of the two of them in a passionate embrace. They pleaded with her not to release the song.
