Jay-Z Reportedly Helping Rihanna With Halftime Show Performance

We are less than one month away from Rihanna’s Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show performance. To ensure the show goes on without a hitch, the Anti singer is reportedly getting some help from Jay-Z and Roc Nation in the process, according to Capitalfm.com.

Jay-Z Reportedly Helping Rihanna With Halftime Show Performance

Although it hasn’t been confirmed by Jay, Roc Nation, or the Super Bowl headliner herself, it all seemingly makes sense. Jay-Z is the live music entertainment strategist for the NFL, and one of his duties is to “advise on the selection of artists for major NFL performances like the Super Bowl.” It makes sense that Jay would go the extra mile to help RiRi since he also was the president of Roc Nation back in 2004 when Rihanna was signed to the label.

Rihanna teased her Super Bowl performance last week on social media. In the 30-second clip, RiRi appears as a silhouette as voices are heard saying, “Dude, Rihanna, we’ve waited for you.” Another added, “It’s been six years since the nine-time Grammy-winner dropped an album.”

The singer later emerges from the shadow and is seen wearing a green furry coat, a black outfit underneath accessorizing with chunky silver jewelry.

Rihanna made the Super Bowl announcement back in September when she posted herself holding an NFL-branded football. The superstar captioned the photo with a simple period, “.”

“Rihanna is a generational talent, a woman of humble beginnings who has surpassed expectations at every turn. A person born on the small island of Barbados who became one of the most prominent artists ever. Self-made in business and entertainment,” Jay-Z, who previously signed a deal with the NFL to head the league’s musical entertainment, said in a statement, per The Hollywood Reporter.

The Super Bowl LVII Halftime performance will take place on Feb. 12 at the State Farm Arena in Glendale, Arizona.
