The draft night unfolded just like many fans and analysts predicted: Clark was selected No. 1 by the Indiana Pacers. Her former teammate, Kate Martin, was selected by the Las Vegas Aces. Marshall did not declare for the draft, but was on hand to support her friends.

After the draft, Clark and Co. partied the night away. Marshall uploaded a short video to her Instagram stories.

#2. Clark, Marshall, and Martin mark the end of an era

Despite losing against the South Carolina Gamecocks in the final of the NCAA tournament, Clark and her Iowa teammates changed the landscape of women’s college basketball.
