They’re known as one of Hollywood’s most down to earth couples.

So it’s no surprise Nicole Kidman, 56, and husband Keith Urban, 55, embraced a much more laid-back lifestyle when they return home to Australia.

Nicole touched down in Sydney on Sunday, reuniting with Keith and their daughters Faith, 12, and Sunday, 15, at the Airport, before driving to a local church to attend a service.

While many A-list stars would refuse to worship among strangers, Nicole and her brood gladly stood in pews with other members of the public.

After the service the family were spotted leaving the church alongside other church goers, with Nicole looking stylish in a long black dress and sunglasses.

New Zealand-born country singer Keith meanwhile looked relaxed in a checked shirt and navy trousers.

A day later, Nicole and Keith were seen blending in with the locals as they picked up burgers, chips and kombucha drinks at a burger joint in Sydney’s beachside suburb of Avalon.

Swapping her red carpet gowns for a casual dress shirt and jeans, Nicole could easily have been mistaken for a local customer.

She hid her famous red locks under a cap with a few strands flowing in the wind, and added a pair of white sneakers.

Keith meanwhile opted for all black, dressing down in a shirt with a graphic print and track pants, as well as sporty cap.

During their stay in Sydney ,Nicole and her family will likely be living at their sprawling Latitude apartment complex in Sydney’s Milsons Point.

Nicole and Keith currently own five apartments in the block overlooking Sydney Harbour.

In May it was reported the couple splashed out $7,725,000 on their latest acquisition in the block – a three-bedroom unit on level 15.

They first bought into Latitude in 2009 after purchasing a penthouse for $6m, before later splurging $2.68m for a unit lower down the block.

In 2022 they paid $1.35m for a one-bedroom pad on level four, which they reportedly will be using as a private gym.

While the couple’s schedule while in Sydney is not known, it’s likely they pair will spent plenty of time with Nicole’s mother Janelle, 82, who has faced health battles recently.

Nicole first confirmed her mother was unwell in 2022, after flying to Australia to spend some quality time with her.

In an interview with the Fresh Air podcast at the time, Nicole said she’d managed to visit the Art Gallery of New South Wales after-hours during her visit.

‘We’re down here primarily to take care of my mother and to have her surrounded by her grandchildren,’ she said.

‘So luckily yesterday, even though Omicron is raging through this country, we were able to take her into the gallery after hours and show her the Matisse exhibit, which coming from a mother who’s raised me in the arts, it was soothing balm.’

Later in the interview, Nicole said she felt privileged to be able to see the world through her mother’s eyes, describing it as ‘so beneficial’.

Nicole will also no doubt be catching up with her younger sister Antonia and her six children while she’s in town.

Nicole and Antonia maintain a strong bond, and are often seen spending time together whenever Nicole visits Australia.
